Frank & Co

When I saw Frank Zappa & The Mothers Of Invention perform in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam in September 1973, I was still a teenager, I would not have believed it when someone had said to me that four years later I would meet my idol and that he and I would stay in touch until his last days on this planet. Through Frank I met many wonderful people, both personally and professionally. Two people sort of persuaded me to write down my adventures with Frank and (M)Others: my father Co Sr. and Frank’s son Dweezil. I am happy I took their advice seriously because the book is now available worldwide.

I am privileged to have the support of some very good friends. Have fun with these links.

It feels good to write a book about my friendship with an American Musical Icon and then give it as a present to another true American Musical Icon: the great Todd Rundgren. This picture was taken moments before finding out that the Americain Hotel in Amsterdam had run out of burrata cheese.

Maestro Kent Nagano, who conducted the LSO sessions for FZ, with Co in Hilversum. Mr. Nagano is in the book. He sent me this message:
Please accept my appreciation for having so generously invested the time and effort to bring such a tribute to us and to the future generations.
